Giveaways

A giveaway posts an embed with an Enter button, collects entries until the end time, and draws winners. Entries can be free or cost Credits.

1. 01Open Giveaways and set Min. server age if you want to keep brand-new accounts out. It takes whole days from 0 to 3650. Zero turns the check off, and it applies to every giveaway in the server.
2. 02Under Create Giveaway, pick the Channel and optionally a title. Left blank, the first prize name is used.
3. 03Add your prizes. Each row takes a prize name and a number of winners, and you can add more rows for second and third place.
4. 04Set the end date and time, and a start time if you want it to go up later.
5. 05Set the entry cost in Credits, or leave it at zero for a free giveaway.
6. 06Press Create Giveaway.

Times on this form are read in your server’s timezone, set on the General settings page.

Free entry

One press of Enter and the member is in. The entry count on the embed updates a few seconds later.

Paid entry

A box asks how many entries they want, between 1 and 100, shows the total cost, and asks them to confirm. More entries mean more tickets in the draw.

Required role and Multiplier roles

Recorded with the giveaway and displayed on the post, so members can see who it is aimed at.

A trivia giveaway works differently. Turn on Trivia giveaway, write a question and its answer, and the giveaway becomes a race with one prize and one winner: members press the button, type an answer into a box, and the first correct one takes it. Matching ignores capitals and punctuation, and a wrong answer can be retried.

Giveaways are run from the dashboard. Press Draw on a running giveaway to finish it early and pick the winners, and Reroll on an ended one to draw a replacement winner.
